Lol! That's because I'm training in him in the ways of the 'force'!! Which is basically how to work a Hoover and how to hide freshly acquired parts from his better half! ;)
I'll await his arrival to the thread and a tirade of abuse now! Flol
To check if the cv joints are goosed grab hold of the driveshaft (with the car on the ground) and see if there's any in/out movement from the joint. It should have none.
Another possible cause of the knock could be the steering rack mate. It's internal so not a great deal you can do other than...
What shock absorbers are you buying? Are they for a 172 cup by any chance? Reason I'm asking is the cups are wider track at the front courtesy of a different subframe. That means the wishbone is pushed further out so the only way to keep the camber on a cup the same as a normal 172 is to put the...
You could use the angled spacers that Jenvey sell on the ktec kit tbh. Just bolt them inbetween the body and the filter back plate (assuming it has one? Never paid much attention to it tbh)
Getting the fundamental geometry correction is THE way forward. You could have 300hp and be the fastest in a straight line, only to have someone give you the bird with 180hp in the bends because they can carry more speed through the corner because their suspension is working correctly.

Arrow rods if you want reliability and safety. Only aftermarket rods I'd fit. All the other stuff is cheap Chinese shite, and I don't give a monkeys toss who says different. Remember, buy cheap, buy twice.
Tbh mate I doubt the group buy will happen, so to answer your question, no there are no plans to do more. It will just be myself and James that have these very unique hubs if that's what occurs.

My own personal set are 10mm per wheel but the ones in the gb only go 5mm. The extra 3.5mm (apologies I posted it as 12.5mm per wheel previously) comes from running et35 15's. Doesn't effect...
Mine rubbed on the bumper bracket (since fully removed) and also on the inner arch tub itself. It mainly happens on full compression of the suspension for me. I run 205/50 15 r888's and I'm running 12.5mm wider track than a normal cup. This is done the correct way and not using spacers.
