My bonnet switch is unplugged as I've removed the 2nd skin on my bonnet. All I did was hold the pin down, set the alarm, then removed the wiring plug. I'm pretty sure it makes the circuit complete with the switch on the bonnet in the open position. Try disconnecting the plug and setting your...

Re: sonny172cup "track racer project" The spacers are made out of zinc plated steel mate. I'm not sure how a stainless steel spacer could flex though?! It's sandwiched between the column and column mount!

8pk 547 is the belt I run, but I'm still on the cup alternator setup mate.

I've not had any experience of the Clio pushrod so I can't say 100% yes it can be adjusted, but I would imagine that yes it is adjustable. There's normally a lock nut to hold the rod secure that you loosen and screw out as necessary.

I'd imagine he's meaning the actual pushrod that comes out the servo and activates the master cylinder mate.

Re: sonny172cup "track racer project" Mines lowered on some spacers we have on the stuff at work. Probably about 12mm thick I think. I've some spares lying around if your interested? ​As for the lowering, it will be fine that amount mate.

Possibly the bonnet sensor for the alarm? It's registering that something's not shut - hence the high pitched noise.

Anything that's made by skf or timken is your best bet mate. Try taking the measurements to a local bearing specialist and see what they've got on offer. Failing that, just order them from Renault.
