I reckon its true about how you drive the car determines its performance potential
When I got my car at 20,000km on it, it didnt seem as fast as it is now with 33,000km. I dont rag it to death but I do try keep the revs up where they belong.
The other night however I was on my way home when...

Id get rid of the "Renault Sport Clio 172 Cup" text on the page as its being duplicated in the graphic.
On the menu page, it might look a little better if you changed the scrolling option to auto

Seriously, this would be an awesome project to do, but finding the time cash and skills might be a little tricky

Hey guys,
As far as Im aware one of the biggest restrictions in the 172 engine is the Inlet manifold so I would like to reduce that restriction as much as possible without getting too expensive (and definately not throttle bodies at the moment).
Anyway, I was speaking to a mechanic and he...
On the weekend the Honda club here in Johannesburg put together a little time trial at our local hooning spot which consists of some short straights, some long curves, some hairpins. Basically a track which requires excellent use of the brake (both foot, and hand if you have the skill), and...

Alrighty...its about time and VW South Africa are eventually giving us the 132kW Golf GTI (right before the bring out the Golf 5)
And some of us are debating which is quicker, the 172 or the GTI?
Round a track.
0-100km/h
0-160km/h
1/4 mile
1km sprint
Dash, Im not sure if roadsters such as the MGB, etc really deserve their own category... If they have performance characteristics which would enable them to perform adequately on a track then they would be classed as a sports car.
So in the sports car catagory wed have roadsters, hatchbacks...
