And I gained 1.7%! Or the equivalent of 30cc.
Each unit should flow 240cc per minute. Two were at 234, one was at 232 and one was at 230.
The engine is a phase 1 on about 80k. Can't say I'm disappointed as I know they're right now and at £57 returned from injectortune hardly expensive. I'll...
I wish I'd bought a Cup but I only paid £1k for mine a year ago and I used to own the car and my mate bought it from me so I know it inside out and it also has sentimental value!
I posted this in Other for sale somehow.
My Brother removed my slam panel but never kept the bolts. Now I need to make some brackets to hold the grille.
These are the 4 that hold the slam panel to the headlight panel. Does anyone knows the bolt size and thread unless someone has a set lying...
I've got a Cup engine loom to fit and plan to remove a few unused plugs to tidy things up.
I unplugged the carbon canister solenoid today and left the car idling. There was no EML or any impact on the running.
The EML doesn't bother me as I'll just tape it up. Are there any implications of...
Cheers Guys. Hope you're making progress with yours Tommy.
I unwrapped and stripped the rear back to the plug and removed each pin. Extended it the re-wrapped.
I tried the same with the front but something didn't play ball so this time I cut the unused plugs up to the main loom leaving a 2cm...
Thanks Guys
I loved it back in the day. I always wanted to do this, I just couldn't bear to rip it to pieces when it looked like that. Then Phil violated it so I had no hesitation!
Lol. It was a charity track day with loads of pictures being taken so thought why not! Never on the road!
It...
Just been trawling Imageshack.
She used to be cleaned every week, clayed and sealed regularly.
Then Doncaster_K9 bought it off of me for £1,200 after the head gasket went the day I picked up my first M3.
He fitted a new engine amongst other bits like solid engine mounts, Cobra Daytonas...
I know it's only one piece but I've started now and leaving it half done would do my t!ts in!
It's the one above the fuel filler which is much more hidden. Any tips or special tools?
(Poor) pictures of mine for anyone interested.
Airbag wiring, all unused plugs clipped back, heatshrink and the loom retaped.
You can just see the hazard panel on top of the clocks in the first pictures. I have also relocated the OBD port to where the heater rear screen button used to be...
Re: My 172 Cup (T5MY G) 191.2 Bhp & 173.4 Torque
LOL. That's one way to get around a car not running Tom!
Hope you get the Cup sorted soon Bud.
The 172 looks great. Complete with Len_Beach inspired F1 Team stickers.
You'll have money rolling in!
Yeah, much more succesful this time. Thanks for your help with it. I can't see what I did wrong last time as I was very methodical and didn't disturb the CAN junctions other than clipping off the rogue wires. I think it may be as simple as unwrapping caused 1/2...
I can confirm that my sausage fingered brother had fitted the offside 90 degrees out so I had extra toe not camber. Fool!
I haven't driven the car yet but I dare say it will be much tighter.
As for whether you need the additional camber, the car is a road legal but 100% track car so why not...
Sounds like my experience!
Although my second attempt was much more successful!
