Yeah he says he is on loads of forums and i told him he should be on here as there isn't a decent auto electrician/alarm installer on here, he said he will but he likes to be invited onto forums first, he'd do a cracking trade with all the crap standard 1*2 alarms out there :)
I had this toad alarm fitted today by Barry at safe n sound in wakefield, he came to my house, ripped out the s**tty cobra jobby as it had messed up due to water damage and he fitted me the Ai606 with the total closure and pager too, basic system is £219 fitted and the extras are a bit more...
This is the offending connection in the seatbelt buckle, the after pic is with it bent back, it's a two minute job and you'll need a number 10 torx key.
Re: RB182 Diary
I found i never used the CC anyway on mine so no great loss for me, i only used it now and again for something to do but i find motorways boring enough without taking away one of the features that keep me awake!
Cheers for the tip on the seatbelt buzzer too, just did it tonight...
Re: RB182 Diary
Brilliant seats Mike, i would love some of these myself.
Now my cruise control has knackered up i'm tempted big time to go for the momo steering wheel we saw on that 197 at Trax :)
Oh and i went with Brentacre this year too, got a 200bhp limit policy with them last month, nice...
Yeah mate i have a pic, it's a bit of a half arsed effort as i was bored one day at work so it still needs polishing up :)
I have a black allen key set screw for the top hole when it's finished.
Good job that mate, i made one myself but in my usual fashion i completely over engineered it and made it from one eigth thick stainless steel plate!.....took bloody ages to drill :(
Oh yeah the FCS magical mystery tour......i even managed to lose the convoy last sunday when we went down to Trax :(.......got stuck behind two lorries near the turn off of the M1 and when i finally got to the exit sliproad everyone had gone, i managed to catch up in the queue into silverstone...
Lol it was a guy with a Trophy who told me that only the fronts were sachs........i guess he was full of s**t, needs to do more research on the car he bought i think :)
Was actually really good compared to FCS Laura, i think the main issue is the time we have to set off from yorkshire........by mid afternoon i was walking around yawning :(
Much more to see than FCS though :)....not sure i would do FCS again but i would go back to Trax.
Have admin thought anymore about about the show plates for future events?.......i only mentioned it because i noticed a vauxhall club there with the number plates covered up with forum name plates that were just laminated cardboard ones held on with rubber bands, looked pretty good even though...
Cheers guys for the organisation of the parking, as with FCS this was my first time at trax and i thought this event on the whole was better than FCS but as per FCS i was still too shy to come say hello and get my flump but nice to see you from afar anyway :D
Oh and i was one of the ones who...
About 9:30ish Mike said, got to be early anyway considering the amount of time it would take just to get to the lakes and back......not to mention the fun roads when we get there :D.......and the obligatory pub meal too ;)
Not quite sure exactly but as far as i know the sachs is only the front suspension on the trophy and the rear is the same set up as the cup, there is definately a difference in cup and non cup rear suspension as when you buy aftermarket cup suspension it costs more than non cup......i think!
Good comparison, i recently put a pipercross filter in my 182 but to be fair i don't know if it made a difference on it's own as i had a yozza exhaust fitted and a remap within the space of two days but i did notice that removing the top caf did give the engine much more of a raw sound as it...
This is a Fault with the alarm, it's not a feature and you can't get round it, the alarm and ecu aren't talking to each other properly and the alarm thinks the ignition is still switched on hence it's warning you.
You can take it to renault who will fix it for a huge fee no doubt or do what i'm...
For anyone who wants them these are the postcodes for all the meet and destination places :)

I reckon so too, not fully sure yet when the earliest infield parking is allowed but we can change it depending on the time it takes to trax and the infield parking time for WSR
Don't even know for sure if i'm on the infield stand or not yet :S
Couldn't swear to it but being french it's bound to be metric so at a guess i would say M12 or M14 but that is a guess more than anything factual mate, can't find it in the haynes manual either.
