i get about 27-29mpg round town and about 36-37 on motorway, was exactly the same on my 172. Dont know how everyone gets these amazing figures as i cant get close even driving like an old biddy.

its the same colour as the megane 225 liquid yellow is mor similar to the lambo colour

yeah they need to have auto adjustment and have clear glass/plastic as anything else will totally scatter the beam, id steer well clear of anything other than official ren parts. oh and 172/182 lights are only dip not full beam anyway.

agree with the above mine did this before too the petrol light also came on continuously and doing the diagnostice mode and pressing the trip button sorted it

nah so long as you dont tear the sticker when removing the screws i dont see how they would be able to tell you had been in it

its only 2 philips screws mate, behind the origin sticker on the back then it just pulls apart.

i took mine apart and smeared a little vaseline on the sides of the buttons and its never rattled since

give it time, the rattles etc arent far away :)

the renault figure is 0-100kph/62mph and is probably 2 up with a full tank

yeah its cos any bits of dirrt, flies etc can scatter the beam i think, although the washers dont do diddly squat to remove the likes of dead flies etc anyway

clio172boy: what head unit do you have? and the adaptor that you have did you only utilise the yellow connector? the makers of the unit kept trying to tell me there was green/yellow and blue plugs and just to make all the connections but there is only pins to accomodate the yellow one and...

yeah i read this today too, always took everyting in autoexpress with a pinch of salt

theres an adaptor for kenwood units that is just plug and play that does the display and the stalk supposedly (soundlinx REN04DIS) i bought it and the kenwood z838w headunit which is supposed to be compatible but mine dosent work with the stalk only the display and ive had it replaced too just...

mine only took a few minutes at first starting and as for it being loose mine isnt loose at all and has never popped out tho the buttons on it rattle like nothing else, tho i suppose the b2 rattling does drown out the renault rattles :)
