Why not consider H+R -40mm springs? I fitted them to my cup (dont have any pics at the mo) and the body roll is reduced without affecting the ride quality at all. Gives a similar drop to the Apex's. A bit more expensive, but well worth the extra IMO.
Cool vid. I hate that feeling- the split second when you realise that youve lost it and you aint gonna recover, your ass collapses, and you have to sit there until the spinning stops:D
Ive also got that rattle from the passenger side rear panel. I'll stick some bubble wrap in there and that should do it. My roof lining rattles as well.
My cup works best if I drive really slow at the start of my journey, and speed up gradually. After 4 miles it goes like stink. If I give it beans from the start, it doesnt perform as well for some reason.
Arseholes. Cut their feckin legs off and watch them try to roll over your roof lol. You are lucky there are no dents though. The weight of the wash sponge kinks the roof on my cup lol
Once you have downloaded it, it wont auto install. you have to go into device manager and place it there manually. If you phone blackspot they talk you through it on the phone.
You can buy an FM modulator thingy that plugs into your ciggy lighter socket, and your ipod is broadcast through an FM channel on your head unit. Dont know if they are any good though.
It can be done but the rear bucket sits very high because the subframe has to mount to the raised platform. Petrol tank has to be removed before fitting also. Seen it done in a megane, but it looks kind of odd IMO.
It was an 04 plate arctic blue 182, joined the M-way at about 5 pm at charing cross and sat on my ass until the clyde tunnel cut off. At first I thought it was Rory but it wasnt.
Ali, I made mine with a short length of steel tube, a couple of bulldog clips and a cheap mini camera clamp. Total cost about £17 (£15 for the clamp). Ideal for us tight-fisted baisterds.
Can anyone recommend a mail order place that does guaranteed next day delivery on apex springs? I've got my car booked in for next week for fitting and the spring supplier has let me down.HEEELP MEEEEE PLEEEASE!
