You wont get sh*t handling from a 60mm drop but the ride will suffer, youll be able to feel every bump in the road. Ill see if I can find a side on pic of my car so you can get a better idea of the ride height.
and yeah, 60mm springs will kill your shocks, especially if theyre 8 years old.
Ben P - there aint nothing wrong with a 620ti, they f**kin fly!!!! (until they get to a corner!;))
My only concern with LV was when I got a quote they didnt seem interested in the value of the car or the mods. It was as if they were saying, if you have an accident, well work out what your cars...
The wheels are 15s with 195/45 tyres. To be honest to the untrained eye you probably wouldnt be able to tell that its been lowered. When I had the suspension done I was still running on the 13in steels and you could notice the difference, but when I put the alloys on that night it went back up...
Was looking at getting the above Head Unit. Its the Pioneer one with the dual face where one slides out. But Im concerned that its going to hit the surround.
Has anyone got this Head Unit in a MK1, or can anyone comment on whether you think itll fit or not.
cheers
Rick
The day after I got mine lowered and had the new wheels and tyres fitted I was testing my new found handling ability. I went round a left handed going way to fast, the front right bottomed out and I ended up going sideways across the road and somehow got it together after going onto the soft...
Just did another vid on the way home of a race with a Mondeo but the batteries ran out half way through.:(
Hoping to get some decent ones recorded tomorrow as Ive got a nice 100 mile round trip to do.

Your in totally the right place Craggy! Its from Skellingthorpe road onto the ring road (A46). Its a nice little run off the roundabout if you miss the traffic.
zedx19 - The camera is a Pocket DV2. i got it from http://www.Firebox.comwww.Firebox.com, but Ive since found out that I could have...
The camera I bought was £100. This is with only 16Mb of onboard memory. I paid about £45 for 128Mb of extra memory which is good for around 40mins of audio and visual. The quality isnt brilliant but for the price you cant really go wrong.
I got a digital Video Camera a coupe of weeks ago so I thought Id post a quick movie up here for a laugh. Hopefully the link works cos I messing around with it all last night trying to get it to work!!! If you open up the page below then right click on the Download link and select save target...
The third ones pretty cool. Its got an NSX this time, plus theyve got a camera in a helicopter watching the whole thing! I think the second one is the best out of the series, that Supra looks fookin awesome!!

Well, work on the basis that your Head Unit probably only puts out around 25-30W RMS, so even with a small amp your looking at a double in power. I would say that an amp with 60W RMS should be good enough for a set of components, but from my experience I normally go for an amp that is bigger...
If you become a member then you get discounts at places like Carnoisseur and K-Tec. I got my wheels and tyres through Carnoisseur for £420 when it would have cost over £500 from other places, plus Ive saved loads on suspension and ICE.
