Yeah thats what I was thinking - changing a wheel is the last thing you want to be doing in some situations, and a can of that stuff would be great even if you do have a spare in the boot.
Had a letter from my dealer about this - free service where they sort you out if you have a shunt. I guess its a way of getting more business for their Renault approved bodyshops.
Has anyone used it?
Surprising, they offer a lifetime guarantee (including the seals and rings) and they are happy to let you use old ones! Fair enough though if thats what they say I suppose.
OK thats quite enough you two - youve both aired your opinions - dont let it descend into a sl*gging match.
Back on topic..
I know that the Cup and 182 dont come with a spare wheel - is this common practice with other manufacturers too?
If its not covered and its going to be megabucks you might want to try http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10410&item=2475447590&tc=photohere
Contis are easy enough to find - have a ring round. If you can wait a couple of days http://www.mytyres.co.ukmytyres have them for about £58 at the moment.
Take the wheels off and sell them on here. Sell the car as standard. No idea what youd get but it looks pretty tidy. Have a peek in autotrader.co.uk and see what theyre going for.
Hardly worth doing the mains really - its not like anyones going to be looking at them! I managed mine (sidelights & silvervision indicators) after a lot of swearing and bloody fingers :( Its the sidelights that are the killers. Club members get a double-figure discount from Powerbulbs!
Just keep bumping your topic back to the top now and again, and youll get more input. Eibachs rock BTW. If you get the Viper you might want to think about a re-map.
Got it from Demon Tweeks - they fitted it (prices I quoted above include fitting). Cat-back system. Power? Magnex claim all sorts of things, as do all the exhaust manufacturers. All I can say is I was well pleased with my rolling road figures :D
*edit* Seriously though, keep this thread going...
No problems with 17"s, but my gearbox mount went loose while I still had the original 16"s on. I know why youre asking this mate - and theyre talking rubbish!!

Now wasnt that a surprise?? £360 fitted, or about £330 if you join this club, which costs a fiver.
