Just call them and ask whether its in stock. If it is you can be confident of getting it in about 3 days (ordered some springs last week - took 3 days!). If its not in stock its just down to you whether you can stand the wait.
Youre right - doesnt mean it shouldnt be done, just doesnt make it a commercial reality! And to be honest thats half the fun of it - experiment - see what happens!

Hi Danny, welcome to the madhouse mate.
Cornering noise?? Wheel bearing maybe? Worth checking anyway. Gearbox crunch is probably something to get used to - its not the best gearchange in the world to be honest.
Hill Power are in Leicestershire - dtails on their website.
mr bognor - there are some minor electronic differences - nothing much, but different versions of the ECU are available for the different engines.
No not a big fan of DIY! But Im going to Hillpower anyway so I thought Id let them pop it in. I have a hard enough time topping up my washer fluid!
I think the Mk1 is the same procedure, but the ECU is different - you need to know your engine type to order the ECU.

After the alarm has gone off the LED flashes. It will flash with a different sequence depending what set it off. It would be good if it had a self-test though.
Here you go - stage 1, IK, ECU, Brakes etc etc.. for 172. Much more for valvers as theres more demand.

Wait and see whether they fit when your spacers arrive. If not get some 3mm spacers (Halfords) and try again. If they still wont fit because theyre simply unsuitable you should send them back and get your money back, as theyre unfit for the purpose for which they were sold.
