It's just a metallic gasket. Get one from your nearest dealership or use high-temp silicone. Fitting the cat on a ph1/ph2 172 isn't the nicest job tbh. Access is pretty limited.
Downstream is ok. Nothing to do with engine management. It's only there to check the catalyst function and trigger the EML if not. Sprak plugs fine? Coilpack and leads ok?

A complete seat... But pretty cheap.
You can get different spring rates and damping characteristics for Bilsteins, H&Rs, KWs etc. They all offer a proper clubsport to race spec range which are made for individual needs (price in or above AST range though).
ebay.de / ebay.fr + google translator ;)
EDIT: If the height adjustment is in the standard seats, why do you need other sliders then? Recaros Trendlines won't have height adjustment afaik.
Height adjustment on the clio seats is not a part of the sliders. It's integrated in the seat itself. Thought about sliders for your Megane from a LHD car (LHD passenger => RHD driver)?
You won't be able to get a decent ducting as the inlet diametre is about 100mm (space is a bit restricted in the Clio bay). I'd just point the inlet to the headlight. Another option is fitting the airbox straight off the throttlebody (cup racer style) and run a ducting to the front. But you'll...
