    172 had a sunroof

Parked in the cold and frosty weather outside the pub last night, my car attracted a coating of frost. On the roof I could clearly see the shape of a sunroof. So. Do the bodyshells come with a hole for the sunroof as standard? NB - if you know the answer to this I suggest that you try to get...

    Performance Figures

Hmmm. Renault are always a bit conservative though. Helps to keep the insurance down too.

    clio rs problems

Hi, and welcome :D Your car should not do this - the RS will sometimes fail to start first time but almost always starts at the second attempt. 95 or 98RON fuel doesnt affect starting on mine.

    Anyone getting a 182

Its a very nice car for the money - if I was due to change mine Id get one. And not really for the power - its just that it might be the last opportunity to get a Renaultsport Clio for a while - I doubt therell be one (from day 1) in the new range when it comes out.

    Ordering a 182 :)

Rolling radius is increased by about 7mm with 205/40/17 tyres. I.E about the same as the difference between new tyres and old.

    Ordering a 182 :)

The ride is certainly firmer owing to the lower profile tyres - I quite like it though - makes the car feel taut. Cant say Ive noticed any difference in performance. The tyres (Falken) are different to the Contisports though - they seem to have more lateral grip but less traction. I have a...

The wheels are Mille Miglia HT3 - if you like them you can get them once you buy the car. http://www.mike.easley.dsl.pipex.com/wheels.jpg

sticky clonk when pulling away??? can you describe it more? Same as on/off throttle clonk?
  21. telford_mike

    Cups first few probs.

Clunk is the gearbox mount under the battery. The rest just sounds like build quality.

LOL Hi Paul :D Iain - my cars lowered on Eibachs - 20 or 30mm drop depending on who you believe. You can get tyres cheap from http://www.mytyres.co.uk/Tyres.htmlmytyres.net.

If theyre just scratched (in other words you can live with them as they are), I guess £350 is ok. Tyres are about £60 each for 17"s. Give the pics time they will appear - the Pipex web server is slooooow.

    FAO Telford Mike

They look ok to me - wheels are a bit of a personal thing though, so not everyone will think the same. I wouldnt pay £400 for wheels if they are damaged - could cost you another £200 to get them refurbed, plus a bit more for new tyres - remember you could get new ones including new tyres for...
