Its quicker in the wet as it spins higher in the rev range and hardly spins in second where before you had to be in third to get any traction ( maybe i have lead feet:devilish:) .
I just find it better to drive now as it does not seem to be spinning the front wheels all the time.
Acceleration is quicker a itsnot spinning all over the place like normal.
Give it a bit this morning. It still spins but no where near as much as it did.
Done the speed bump test as well on the way to work and i did not hear any body to tire noises coming from the rear :D
I will try to get...
If i park mine on my drive and start it up the oil and serv light come on but if i park it on the level its ok.
You can lock the boot by pressing the lock button on the dash with your door open and it locks the passenger door and boot then shut your door and lock it.
Looks like your door pin...
I like the look of the Cup as it come from the factory, but the only 2 things that i thought would look better would be to lower it and fit bigger wheels.
I needed 2 new front tyres @£70 each and got £350 for my old wheels so these have only cost me £210.
Yes the car does look standard and...
The price was a one off deal as he had them in stock plus i do know the owner and he had some free advertising when my Megane Coupe was in Fastcar. I think they should be £900+ normally.
They are Yoko A539s.
I paid £700 for those all in.
I have had 2 people in and they have not caught saying they are ET35 but Speedline said all these wheels they have sold for Cups have been ET35.

I think they make the car look so much better even though they are the same wheel as before but bigger.
What a difference an inch makes:oops:

I pulled a fast one when i got my cup as it does not come with a spare i kept the spare of my Megane Coupe i traded in:devilish:.
You need at least a 15" spare because of the size of the front brakes.
I have had the same problem with mine.
Took it to the garage and they said a bolt had snapped on the auto tensioner for the PAS belt.
Had it replaced and a new belt. Much better now but it squeels on startup if its a bit damp so its goin back in again on the 5th Feb.
I was pissing about with frontpage last night and started to do a website for Clio Cups. http://www.cliocup.carnuts.co.ukhttp://www.cliocup.carnuts.co.uk It looks a bit empty and i dont know sh*t about website stuff really.
If anybody has any info or pics that i could put on the site then...
As my first post states. The back looks high as it is parked on a funny angle on a steep drive. If you look at the pic of the passenger side the front looks high and back does not. it does look right when its on the flat.

The filter is loud but sounds sweet, much better than my mates K&N on his 172. Took me a while to get it as it had to come from Germany but only cost £70.00. Get it past 5K then it sounds even better.
Handling is much better. Not much harder than it was before but it has stopped the bouncing...

Has anybody put 17" wheels on there Clio Cup.
My local Alloy Wheel place has offered me a set of Flowformed Speedline Turini 7x17" alloys with Falken 205/4017 tyres for £700.00 which is F##king cheap but they are ET35. Team Dynamics say a 38mm offset for 7x17" on a 172 but my Cup has been lowered.
