ok so its got no miles on it and appears mint, but those alloys. it's like a love child between a turini and a spotty kid with braces.
more times than i care to remember. proper hunter alignments that measure everything. only issue that stuck out was the camber on the left front was outside of its parameters (by 2/3rds of a degree, small enough to make next to no difference) but even if something WAS bent i would get a constant...
no, standard shocks and springs. some stuffs been done since my earlier posts in april. i had a new rack fitted which pretty much cured the problem but it still had a very slight pull to the right. it seemed to get a little worse over the course of a few days, i swapped the tyres front to back...
i decided to park outside the car park in the morning, on the grass verge. still not bullet proof because lorrys go up and down, but at least no one can park next to me :) then when i go out at lunch i can park back in the car park when it's half empty
just to the right of the dhl sign :)...
Just the main rubber mount and bearing are new. Reused upper mount and top hat thing.
With the strut off the car I noticed the main rubber mount could move about despite the tiny strut bolt being tight.

Fitted the new standard top mounts and bearings I've got and car is all over the place. Apart from tracking now being out does it take a while to settle down?

Hmmm I suspected solid top mounts may be the answer. I found a thread from 2003 that seemed to indicate a renault fix ref what Fred said

It wouldn't add castor or camber as the main rubber part of the mount doesn't move in this hole, just the top part with the nut. Its identical on both sides with the driver side elongated at top left

lol you can put a positive spin on anything! i find that no matter what i spend my money on, i can always put a positive spin on any deliveries that the missus asks about :)
any good solutions other than don't drive or don't park near anything? :rasp:
i work for dhl and in the morning the car park becomes a bit of a loading bay, i seem to be picking up dings at a rapid pace. other than parking elsewhere, what can i do?
1. i thought about motion activated cameras...
these then, assuming i have a pci-e socket

i've just got the one standard built-in-graphics vga slot on my pc. it's a work pc so doesn't have to run video or games, just email on one screen for example, and office on another.
can i use a dual vga splitter cable? or do i need a graphics card with two vga slots?
i've got about four...
going by the pics it doesn't look too bad. the gap on the rear arches is uneven, but considering there's a 172 underneath for £1300. sexy track car?
