Not likely for me. Having used my Mrs iPad 2 and my '3' next to each other, in the real world they don't do things that differently. I mean you can surf the web quickly, play a few tablet style games but the retina display in the 3 main noticeable difference. Ok so the new one is 'twice as fast'...
What's in the previous model though? It's easy to compare the 2 and the new 3 but I don't know what was in the other model! lol
I shall get Googling! :)
Glad it wasn't me that was thinking 'What the f*ck' as on the site the only sign it's new is that it's got new flashing away on the link and because the previous model (out earlier this year) is now not being sold I couldn't figure what had changed.
I have the iPad 3 from earlier this year so...
As much as the new iMac has been slimmed down the lack of optical drive seems to be a bit of a weird decision. Yes it looks stunning but the previous model wasn't exactly ugly or bulky!!
It's an all in one computer that is now not all in one if you want to use CD/DVDs. Apple need to strike...
I'm confused by the current iPad range now, maybe someone can enlighten me. We've had the following models..
iPad 1
iPad 2
'New iPad'
So is this version shown here (http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipad), 'iPad with Retina Display' an updated version of 'New iPad' or is it an iPad 4...
Looks like a nice bit of kit as expected really and price wise £269 isn't too bad really.
Also, what's 'new' about the Retina Display iPad? They've stamped 'new' on the top but is that because they've just renamed it from 'New iPad'?
I was a Vodafone man until I realised that the coverage in my area is utter gash so ended up on O2 now.
Really can't complain about Phones4U, £100 off a 64gb 5??? Be silly not too.
Is there a boot release somewhere else in a Clio 172 MKII if the button has stopped working?
Over the weekend my Clio decided that it was too much effort to unlock the boot along with doors. Is there a way of opening the boot until I get round to sorting it properly. :S
I'd say a high mileage 172, in decent condition is worth around the £1,500 mark provided it's got decent service history.
I very good condition example with low mileage and full service history is worth £2k or a little more. Going on examples for sale on Autotrader anyway.
Had a bit of a result, pre-ordered a 32gb 5 last weekend from 3. They called me Wednesday to say it was in but I did tell the guy that I'd not be in until the weekend, all was well. Anyway, call up last night and he hesitated for a bit. Went in today and they'd sold it, apparently first come...
It is indeed, I was a very very naughty boy who put up an individual post for it when it should have been in here. ;)
Plays just as well as the original but looks shinier than I recall on my old PC.
Sorry it was free for the first 24 hours, didn't realise I'd got it so quick. Well worth £1.49 though, plays brilliantly just like the old one.
Iron Maiden was in the second game. Fear Factory tracks were used in the original game. :)
In case anyone was a fan of this game back in the 90s, they've just released it for free on IOS6!
Downloaded it yesterday and is really good, plays just like the original. Believe it's in preparation of the new game in development.
Worth a go for free so thought I'd give a heads up.
As much as I don't doubt that at all, I've not experienced any problems. Had the battery out of my Megane for over six months, fitted the recently charged battery and the car started without a problem, all electrics worked etc.
Unfortunately I don't have the option of a trickle charger or solar...
I think that's what they'll be mostly used for.
The iPad is portable enough to carry in a bag, take on holiday and use around the house. Like a more convenient laptop in that sense. But for a daily commute it's bigger than you need.
A mini iPad could be ideal for an hours train journey each...
Not really, well not that I've found. They're either thin and sleek but offer little protection or bulky, not asthetically pleasing but mean a lot less likely to let your phone get broken.
Thing is a lot of these cases that as skinny and look tarty don't really offer that much protection for the phone which is what I'm after. I'm not prepared to pay for a phone off tariff if I break it so I'll stick it in a heavy duty case that still means it works but also means if it's in my bag...
I store my 225 usually from late Autumn to early Spring and I do the following :
1. Clean it inside and out, usually a good coat of wax applied too.
2. Brim it with fuel tank to minimise moisture in the tank.
3. Leave it parked (garaged) in gear with handbrake off.
4. Put a moisture trap...
If you have the option to borrow an external HDD then go with that. Can copy/paste the lot and leave it.
I transferred 50gb by USB and it didn't take that long. :)
I had a similar situation as my old PC packed up with all my stuff on it.
I bought a HDD USB caddy from Maplin, the Mac was able to read the drive no problem. Then just formatted the drive so I could use it with Time Machine as a back up device.
I have to say I never new someone could be so 'repulsed' by a phone case to be honest!
Function over form personally as I don't much fancy scratching the f*ck out of an expensive phone, that's all I need. I don't take my phone out of my pocket and get a boner over how good looking it is! ;)
