My 2001 Clio Grande 1.2 was an 8v!! It was the phase 2 shape but not with the face lift. I believe the face lifted ones were 16v??!?!?!?!? (although I may be wrong)

I have seen a silver 172 Cup, can't recall where I saw it now but only ever seen the one. I've seen a couple of inferno 182s though and they are rare fook as well.

OK mate, I'll see what I can do. It just sometimes a bit harder to get it into second or out into 3rd compared to the other gears. I'm hoping its not anything like the gearbox/clutch. How much is gearbox oil likely to cost me to replace?

Any ideas why the gears would be slightly less smooth going from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd. Or vice versa, seems to mostly be around 2nd gear though. Doesn't always seem to be a problem, maybe its just me not timing the clutch properly as its on a new car I just got. Its a 1.4 Cliot RT on a...

Never had that problem with my 5 but then again its was only a 1.4 non turbo. The turbos are renound for heating up quite badly. I will definitely have another 5 but the Clio will see me through for now anyway. :D

I'm definitely gonna own another 5, but next time I'm gonna spend a bit more on one and get a GTT or totally restored one. For the time being this car is pretty good, not as much character but ten times easier to drive and also more reliable. Well I hope so anyway haha.
