The 172 has a 48.5 offset so they are completely the wrong offset for the car. I did say before you bought the wheels! Anyway spacers do work but not in your case since you want to bring the wheel inwards. You can only use spacers to move the wheel outwards. For example if you had ET45 you...

Just got it back from Renault! They have re-greased the shocker tops (what ever that means) and the problem has gone. It has also fixed the squeeling on full-lock which a few people have mentioned above. On the downside though they lost my locking wheel nut!!!!! :(

The darker the paint the softer it is as it has more pigment. White is the hardest paint. So if you want to reduce stone chips get a white car!!

Build quality is your typical run of the mill mass produced car, its not all that bad. But the dealers from my experience are appalling though some people have come accross good dealers so they are out there.

Dont think the Cup comes with mats and net you have to buy a special 172 for that ;) Check for locking wheel nuts too!

Bet no one is actually surprised! Just lucky they hadnt lost my car while they had cos I wouldnt be surprised at that either! So they will have the expense of a new set of nuts and a set of wheels if they damage them (which they most probably will)!!!

I remember Paul172 telling me that 172/cups had been coming over fitted with michelin tyres for a while now. Think there may be a post about it somewhere.

Is it fair to say that IF LAD could prove their claim then a lot of people on here would probly be spending money with then??? They have been asked on many occasions to back up their claim and they have declined!

Black is a pain to keep clean, will show every single scratch and they look crap when dirty! But great when nice and shiney. Take the blue and have the best of both worlds it will stand out more too which is the whole point of the V6

So if the tyres have increased in size to 205/45/R16 have the gears ratios been changed otherwise acceleration will be affected!!?? Those 205/45R16s are the same diameter as my 195/40R17s and they do still affect performance! Seems a pits to add 10bhp and then affect performance with tyres...

So does it have 182bhp though??
