Direct injection mate, its bloody brilliant for fuel consumption (when it works). VAG and BMW have perfected what the French struggled to do with the IDE's
My brother has just sold his '07 plate 530 to get one of these (in Red). Looks lovely, sounds epic and shovels torque like a punch to the kidneys from Tyson.
As per the OP's original post he said it happens at speeds of 50-60mph or greater so unlikely to be the brake pedal switch and more likely a faulty reluctor ring on the driveshaft.
If it was a pedal switch fault it would be declared or MIL "on" as soon as the system finishes its integrity check...
Fronts from me are £80 per side fitted using 'F.A.G' bearing kits. Rears... Replace the discs with genuine parts as above as they're pressed in as an assembly.
Never use cheap bearings as its a false economy. I've never seen them as cheap as £10 though... I wouldn't trust that running a bike...
It doesn't have a MAF I'm afraid it's uses a MAP sensor.
I'd be tempted to have it plugged in and have the live data liked at and pay attention to the coolant temp sensor value to be sure it's accurate. Also take a look at the MAP sensor when the engine is off (value should be around...
I really would like a Logan myself. just a few questions:
What is the overall condition of the vehicle (runs okay, not using more fuel than normal) and are there any poor sections of exhaust allowing air in?
What were the actual emission readings?
Mick
Anyone know anything about this as it has CS stickers in the back window? I'm actually tempted for this myself to replace the Laguna with but wondered if anyone knew the car and more importantly, its past?

DaFuq!??
So why can't they just give that in the dirt place then? Brand integrity BS gets my goat at times.
Just got an i7 from that link with the 2Gb VRam and still came in cheaper!
Cheers
I'm with Dan on this, and its not like the standard IPS displays are terrible.
I've got my eye on a 1yr old i5 machine with x2 Thunderbolts which he's asking £1300 for with 12Gb ram and 1Gb video but I've not ruled out new just yet. My nearest Apple store have just quoted £1649 for a new i7...
I've got a friend that works for white square, they're a premium seller and he's spec'd pretty much that for me to. Just waiting on a price though but he said it'll be on a friends and family discount (bet it's still £1600)
Mick
There's loads of 2011 machines knocking about of varying specs and coming from a PC background I know very little so I'm after some opinions.
Firstly, new vs used:
Is there anything to look out for with these to avoid buying a used lemon other than damaged casings and dead pixels? (Not that...
The woodruff key only helps it doesn't make it entirely bomb proof as they can still sheer but, it's pretty essential.
This is why I'm glad I'm not a tuner though... Standard is generally a lot more hassle free.
It *should* have warranty but as with all things in life, it's not always that simple with some places. Be nice and if you've got paperwork, if they don't honour it, get ginger!
I hit something in the road whilst driving a customers R26 after a clutch change last week so I called him and...
