reno overfilled my oil by about 20mm on the dip stick. Anyone know if this would have caused problems. My tickover has been a bit lumpy ever since (didnt notice for 1 week). Blocked breather do cause irratic tickover if I remember right, dont they ?
If it aint Blue it aint a real Cup ! simple as that.
If you ABS, Aircon, leather seats or even any one of those what you have is:-
1) an overweight Cup. or,
2) a second rate 172
As for value, is a willy 1 worth more than a 2 ?
I rest my case. A real Cup is Blue !
I got quoted £75 for a 1" scape on the rim and walked away. They did a similar one 3 months before for £35 but denied they would ever have done it for that price. Wierdos !
Dont forget not only is the Cup:-
89Kgs lighter = Faster
Lower = Faster (Less drag)
Uprated front suspension = Faster (better tranfer of power to front wheels)
No aircon = Faster (remember even switched off it is still being rotated)

mine only clunks going into 5th, other gears are sweet.
Judder on acceleration is from the engine mount under the Battery. Although Reno deny they have ever had the fault reported they tightened mine up and it is much better know. Only have the ocassional judder if I pull away hard with it...

Gear change light: is in the bottom right hand corner of the instrument panel, its green and comes on as a test light when you switch the ignition on.
Pedals: work very well and quick gear changes can be easily acheived. (tip try not to dip the clutch as you may get the odd crunch, get into...
