Thanks, The ball is still in there, do they just start leaking?? McBunny - have you replaced the balls yourself. Is it easy. Dont wanna start dismantling the bumper..... Thanks for any advice given

if your radiator was cracked, at the coolant pressure these engines run at, you would have no coolant whatsoever, plus lots of steam and warning lights.

This is just standard coolant expansion. When the car is hot, the system is pressurised and the level will go up. When the system cools down, the pressure dissipates, and the coolant level will go down. Keep your eye on it though, if it gets below MIN, then take it in......

Theres always the power bump and huge vent in the bonnet that gives the valver away

Hi All, My windscreen washer bottle has cracked on my Clio 172. Common fault I gather. Renault have said that as the car has 30K on it, they will only accept a 50% weighting on the warranty, so I have to pay for 50% of the cost of replacement. Is this right ??

The dealers sell them. They are the same as the ones that hold the renault badge on the front of valvers. They look like little clear plastic buckets.

Its just the sound that the power steering pump makes. If you are stationary, then the pump has to work harder to turn the steering, thats why its louder. Valvers are notorious for noisy ps pumps. Yes, you could say it sounds like air, but it is more of a shhhhhhhhhhhh noise, which is just...
