I feel for you mate, I had similar non stop problems with my old focus, all electrical faults that were un detected in 12 months, 11 visits to the garage and probably off the road about 2 months. It nearly went to court but I got rid in the end. Hope its ok.
What a load of sh*t, hes telling porkys mate, nothing to do with the age, especially as you said the discs, pads and tyres are newish. Dont have any of that. Dump the keys and say sort it out.
Yeah but if your mum spotted it, it was probably a basic model, not a sport. my mum said once that she saw one "just like mine" but with silver bits stuck on the side. LOL, bless her. "Its a vee mum"..."whats that?".
Heres Smokeys mk1. The pic does no justice at all. This car looks the b****cks in the flesh. The anthracite super Ls are perfect for the car to. Hes got some more better pics George, PM him.

Yup, very often. But sensibly though, never on busy roads, housing estates, near schools or shops etc. Always up to just before the change light comes on, and only when warm.
Wise words mate, very true and same as what I stick to...
Oh ABS, I havent got it so couldnt comment on that. They didnt damage a brake line or something? Id put the front tyre pressure up a bit more than the rears mate.

I take it all the discs & pads are in good condition? My discs only lasted 36k and pads only about 14k. Plus if youre running conti sport contacts then when they wear out they change the handling quite a bit, especially in these greasy conditions.
Maybe check the brake fluid level aswell.
Nearly everyday in mine, thats what its built for. As long as no gears are graunched and you dont leave the needle hitting the redline itll be fine. Always nice to see the gear change light flicker in 3rd;)
I thought so, a guy at renault in harlow said that to me and i didnt beleive him until he showed it on screen. Bit silly really cos they could have done a non metalic yellow (like the sunflower mk1) and it would look the tits........IMO of course.
my first set went in 8k and second in 12k. Did try GSD3s but they felt like jelly to so so,d them after only about 200-300 miles. I do like the contis and i can get them fited for about £55 each.
Just got the call and my cup is ready. 36k service for £382.93. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Trouble is my cat has disintegrated inside and has contaminated the exhaust system so has to be booked in again for a new system under warranty...wicked!!
Not many IKs will give you any performance gains unless you can form some kind of heat sheild. Ive seen an ITG custom carbon kit thats supposed to be good (might what Gary G is on about) otherwise as above the Viper but some say you only get a good noise from it?!?!
Sod the expense, get...
