Sorry but that tailpipe on the MK2 looks pretty ropey compared to the Mk1. Like Englebert says....pipe should be pretty much hidden.

Totally normal to have steam coming from brakes if you've been for a drive and then washed it. Next time when you come back from a drive touch the front discs and you'll notice how hot they get...even if you haven't been gunning it. You may get burnt though;)
