It was part of a cost saving measure.
Cup badges are £13 each from Renault and don't listen to Day, the 172 Cup badges are superior ;-) tiny smidge of glue on the '2' as it's prone to falling off.
£200 is a fair price and I'd highly advise getting the rear wing blended. For a second hand glass you're looking at the most, £30. The bodyshop should be able to get that for you. No point going for new glass. A bit of steel wool will bring up a second hand piece nicely.
Rattles?! In a Renault?! You must be mistaken
It should just "pop" down into place. Line it up and give it a good press. I may be wrong but there could be a couple of screws down the sides too.
Not sure about the glovebox, sorry
So long as it fits the same, it's easy stuff! A screw on each side (open both doors to see), a few along the inside of the blower for the windscreen (make sure these don't fall in), a few behind the dash strips and remove the steering wheel plastic surround (screws underneath) to access the...
The parts are £140 trade. So i'm guessing thats the labour charge you're talking about there?
Had mine done by Renault in Inverness yesterday for £244 with supplied parts. Full service was a promotional £79. the hourly rate for fitting the cambelt/auxbelt etc was also on promotion.
Christ, you're not having much luck at all! Sounds a bit pathetic, but have you tried right clicking on the iTunes installer, selecting properties and changing the compatibility mode to Windows XP?
FileHippo is working perfectly for me, try clicking this http://www.filehippo.com/download/file/4d0d9518f394c511876922a344dd94aa64050f6f994110daa729becc1ae68459/
Have you downloaded iTunes from the link I provided you?
If that gives the same error, your problem could be QuickTime. Uninstall your current version of QuickTime, and download the stand-alone installer of quicktime from here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
Then try installing...
^^How will that help?
Download the latest iTunes full installer direct from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_itunes/
If that isn't working, are you using XP/Vista? And what EXACTLY does the error message state.
Are you talking about ones from a MK3? Not gonna happen if so. You would need to smooth over the indentation from the originals, then after the doors and wings have been painted, bond on the MK3 ones.
If you mean the MK2 PH2 sidestrips, then it should be a straight swap.
I bought a pair of xenon clusters off another member here, and noticed that the passenger side seemed a bit bluer than the drivers side. Thinking this was a sign of a bulb dying, or two different K bulbs, I bought a new pair of 6000K's and have the exact same problem. On closer inspection, the...
I took that picture. FYI, it now has 14" generic alloys as it was cheaper than paying for tyres.
I'll get an up to date picture of it soon. I'm seriously tempted to ask the old fella that owns it if he'd like to swap seats plus £200 his way. I'm 90% sure he would.
£140+VAT for the cambelt Kit
£13 for the Auxillary Belt
£15 for the two oil plugs.
If you know someone that can get you trade discount, it can all be had for £138. Renault even let me borrow their locking tool. Don't ask, don't get!
On the bar select 'Mail,' then 'Preferences' and when that window opens, click on the 'Accounts' tab.
Who is your ISP?
You more than likely have to use their outgoing settings.
Noted Fred. Any idea what I'm looking for and what to ask if I phone them?
I phoned Renault in Inverness and they quoted me £170 for the Cambelt kit and the Auxiliary belt. The parts guy claimed there's no kit for the Auxiliary belt. Bear in mind the belt was replaced 6 months ago, so would...
So I'm currently sourcing parts for a cambelt change for my 53 plate Cup with 40000 miles. After having a good search, a few people are mentioning that the Gates cambelt kits are just as good as the Renault brand ones, for a good £30 less. I've found one on ebay, but was wondering if this is the...
