mine is lowered 40mm all round on 17s although it seems lower than that at the rear due to my install weighing the back down, 40mm should be fine, minimal rubbing, if any (could just be plastic inner arches), i think some people have gone lower on 17s? hope this helps

sorry i forgot about this post!! how wide is the tailpipe in total?? how could you get the tailpipe changed? thats more or less the style i want, but i really wanted a really wide oval tailpipes?? the one ive seen is 10 inches across!!!!:devilish:, but presumably if powerflow could change it...

no worries mate, it wasnt very clear, its a mate who is doing it for such a good price!!!! its not just a back box, he is making it into centre exit for me, thats why the new back box i buy needs to be as small in length as possible!!! oh and does anyone know if the 10% discount we get at ascar...

sorry, im getting it done by a local guy who is coming off the existing exhaust, i said i would buy the back box and he would would do what needs doing to get it done, he did say though to get the shortest box available, does that make more sense?? cheers

ok cheers, i wanted to use the valver as a base, like marcus, because presumably standard clutch, gearbox, just uprated brakes etc will be enough? as apposed to using like an rt as a base car? is this right? so presumably if i look for a mint 5, itll only cost around the grand mark to get done...

side skirts should be about £100, front and back splitters, id say £150 -£200 for both, mirrors, not a lot coz already got the paint etc, its not too far off mate, also depends on colour of car? arent the grandes pearl finish? sounds about right i think?

you need a fm modulator, it plugs into the back of the head unit, providing its got rca outputs i think, and then most come with a on/off switch, i think anyway, was thinking of doing a similar thing myself!! cheers

i used to have one on my 1.4, and to be honest it didnt fit brilliantly, however, i have seen one guy on here with one and his fitted really well, just gotta be prepared to put the time in suppose, when you go into the seat dealer just ask for a ibiza gti front splitter, they cost about £18...
