For the £250 price bracket i woudl go for Marks 4 pots, run them on std williams discs
Check the rubber in the mounts for cracking, and when you suddenly acclerate, say from 35 in 2nd does the ger stick move more then a few mm, if so its engine mounts
So it only vibrates when the exhaust rattles?
Also check the heat shields arent touching the exhaust.
Check the whole system and the cv joints and report back, can only tell so much from symptoms described.
At the end of the day from what you have said it could be one of any number of...

I would check the exhaust systerm for excessive movement.
As for the vibration in the stearing comming and going, i had that, usually at motorway speeds, and it turned out it was a f**ked CV joint in the driveshaft, there shoudlnt be any play up or down or side to side in the cv joints, on...

At the front just behind the jacking point there is a reinforced bit, use a bit of 2x2 timber to keep the jack head outa the recess or it will get stuck in there, jack there and put the axle stands on the chassis rail, teh bar bit towards the centre of the car directly in from the jack. There...
You will need the 16v caliper carrier, or it wont hold it far enough away from teh hub to get the larger 16v discs on.
EBC pads are sh*te, go for pagid fastt orad pads, £30 a pop from gsf
LMFAO....£150 for ducting...i can do you a lrngth of 60mm stuff in a very strong thick blue plastic, has has the same ducting on his viper on his 1.2, and it works a treat
