Compared to the R5 the mk1 clio is a girls car, but the new shape clios are girls...
Pagids, have done trackdays on thm wiht no fade, althought after 3k miles, or 2 months worth of use and no trackdays on them (use track wheels) wihtout cleaning the car the wheels are looking a little black

On my 1.2 8v, N reg i was running a de-cat, strraight through centre section (as std) and a peco power master back box, and an open K&N.
It very happily did 120 on the motorway, although this was wiht a valver bonnet, it also felt faster after fittng both teh K&N and de-cat, although really...
Got one off ebay, still havent found a perfectly flat level road that hasn;t got bumps in to test it properly.
A few people off here have got them and say good things about them.
Proper unit off ebay tho
Small one is the hot air hose, will come from a cover at the front centre of the engine, will come off ot the right as you look head on at the car, larger hose will go down to the front right as you are looking at the car, its tyhe larger hose you need to replace wiht a cold air feed
I was well aware you were making a point, now if i had posted up asking for a price on an alternator from renault you woudl ahve been rihgt in making a point, but i actually rang them up and asked them, they are £118+vat, it took me all of 2 minutes.

Both are with PAS and wihtout AC, but the difference is wiht or wihtout PS....and i cant think for the life of me what that...
Right, a 1.2 engine is never really fgonna get hot enought o effect it.
I had an open one sat on the top of my 1.2 engine and it defo made a difference, i dont car what anyone else says, it made a differnce, but in the 1.8 the engine gets hotter and so it need sot be away fromt eh engine and cool
