twin exit out the back ok then?
No visually standard.
Recon mine would pass for standard Lee? ;)
To be honest, people that have as little clue about cars as that shoudlnt be allowed ot work on them, can be VERY damgerioius if you do the wrong thing
On my 1.2 it was in the fanifold.
My downpipe is dented to f**k like that, its cus of those f**king raised manholes.
A new exhasust is gonna amke 1-2 bhp if you are lucky, a dent in the downpipe is prolyl gonna make 0.1 bhp, IF that
More important than how they look, how well do they stop you, bed the pads in now, shoudl only take about 30 mins of hard driving ;), and then do a 30-0 brake test
When you said engine mods i thoguth soemoen on here actually wanted ot do soemthing to the internals of the engine, beyond induction kits and exhausts....i was disappointed
I woudl defo have a spare one to do forst, chances are if its the first attempt you will f**k something up.
Also i dunno how hot 172 covers get, might be worth bearing it in mind
Dont sand between the colour coats, only when yoyu are done, rub it down with wet 2000 grit wet and dry and use a cutting compound.
Only need to laqure ifd its a metallic finish, if you laqure, dont rub the paint down unless you have an orange peal efgfect, then rub down and do another mist...
Watch for rubbimng on the fuel filler pipe when lowering the back, iirc teh car will handle better wiht the back end higher anyways.
Winston has cut stuff outa his arches to lower his car the amount it is

much easier to replace both rear discs in one go (they come complete with bearings)
if you need a price for these (were much cheaper than renault) then call Yoz on 07718790098
total cost should be around the £100 mark...
Dear me, this has come up so many times, deamons tweeks do a billet plate whcih fits between teh block and the filter and accepts sender units for pressure and temp of the oil
yes, Rsi has the GT Turbo set up, why bother though, calipers are the same, and you get 20mm bigger discs, i was gonna do it and then decided it wasnt worth it.
Im runnng pagid fast road pads and std brembos on mine (plus an air filled system ) and ine are more then enoguh, plenty for...
Stearing play is defo a failure.
Getting the copumn out is a pain in the nads, can be welded in the car if you pull tge carpet and foam away, will ahve a much better feel of the road wiht it welded too
Ieve lost teh back end several times, on teh road and track, and controled it everytime.
Would defo loose the back end going round a corner then the front, front you really cant control if that goes, apart from ease off, or get LOO, back end goes, nost of the time unless you really are going...
Im running spax adjustable shocks, set to the hardest and they are fine.
Coilovers are ideal, but not everyone can fford them, £500 is alot to spend on suspension.
usually they will be shot if you can see fuild leaking from them, or id they are bouncing, lol
