When the engine is cold the metal hasn;t exoanded properly so you get piston slap where the pistons move from side to side slightly in the bores, this just creates a bit of extra wear and tear.....i think

connect the resister between the two wires that cinnect to the pre tensioner, gives the ecu the impression thepre tensions are connected

Would imagine it does unless you get an external antenna, which sorta defeats the point in having a tomtom go. if it was me id get an ipaq package wiht a bluetooth reciever and have it stuck in the back window or sommet

Book time was 0-60 in 14.9 secs, think i managed it in about 13/14 timed with a stop watch. Had about 115 outa mine...on a track ofc ;) Was a nippy little thing, very fast up to say about 40 or so, have kept up wiht a Golf 1.6 up to about 40, and a Nova GSi up to about the same

I just connected the tretensioners back up and cable tied them under the seats for the MOT :D

No i have somethign like 3-4" clearence, but its the fact that when you hit it at 70 your car bounces and when it comes back down the suspension compresses and hence you hit it

Driving along a main A road and tehre is a bit where they have put a new pipe in or somemt accross the one sode of the road, but they ahvent smoothed it off properly and its about 1" or so proud of the road. Comming along at 70ish and go up over it and smack down hard, was a fecking solid...
