not entirely realistic to health check before doing the work. Last one I did was running pretty badly when it came in and the cams were fitted at the same time as sorting the issues. Fixing the issues forst, then doing the cams would have been double the work for a lot of it (alternator change...
Looks interesting but they're giving nothing away with the spec, suggesting it's nothing to shout about. I could probably find a use for a high quality windows tablet next time I need to replace a laptop, but i'm not convinced by this yet
my price includes aux kit rather than just belt. That's the only real difference. That and distance.
Oh and it's £1349 from me
Cams £594
Cambelt and aux belt kits fitted £450
Extra labour and seals £55
map £250

Just had a look, that's pretty scorched, is the blueing on both sides?
oversized rings in standard pistons........just no. there would be so much piston slap, the bores would be dead in no time. If you're reboring, get mildly higher compression forged pistons
that's the center mount only.
The ECP ones are ok. Last as long as genuine. None of them are that great really, but the ECP ones are no worse than genuine. Some of the cheaper ones are really poor and fall apart in weeks
