Or can I just cut it down?
This is the bit sticking out the Clio...
Used to have the adapter that went in there, is it needed? If it is, anyone know if I can pick one up from Halfords? Thanks.
Parked my new one against my mum's new Fiesta today (Mk6.5) and it's crazy how similar hatches look these days. Prefer a lot of things about hers tbh... but then again she's 100bhp down so think I'll keep the Clio!
Do love the folding mirrors on fob lock though  rather have that than...
Wow I can't even be bothered to read through all my own thread now!
She got in the car for the first time yesterday... only thing she said she liked was the lights around the mirrors, to be expected I suppose, she does spend half her life looking in the f**king mirror.
Re: Girl's reaction's to your Clio sports?
I've never been with a girl that drives... so maybe that's why they couldn't care less. I tried saying "But look at the exhausts!" I think I got some raised eyebrows that was it, bee-yatch.
Had a 182 years ago, upgraded from a 206 GTi. Girlfriend at the time didn't even say anything when she got in the car... :S so I asked what she though and she said "Well it's just the same as the Peugeot" :dapprove:
Just picked up another 182, showed the current girlfriend and was greeted...

So anyone that joined Pistonheads...
Not quite it's like June 2009 or something, I signed up one month after :( but they said it will be periodically be moving forward so I'll get it free from next year or something.
Played this for about 4 hours online now, probably had around 4 seconds worth of lag... and my connection isn't usually the best!
Loving the single player as well actually, I think it's possibly the best one so far.
Still not a patch on Uncharted 3 though ;)
It was a dog... but I had no job, so I kinda enjoyed fixing all the niggles.
It was only boosting right about a quarter of the time though, very annoying :(
Hello. Couple of years ago I had a 182...
Then I lost my job so had to free up some money, and bought this god awful Punto GT for £700...
Then I remembered my dream to own an R5 GT Turbo, so when I found a decent one locally it just had to be done!
However the dream was kinda short...
Sorry, we're talking about a different car now...

This is a genuine Renault auxiliary belt and tension kit for all Clio 172s and 182s fitted with air conditioning. We are seeing more and more cars with damaged or broken tensioners so this kit should be fitted at every 36,000 mile service or every 5 years, which ever comes first...
Full service up until now... obviously the seller cba spending £500 on it and wants rid. They were done at 73k now its on 109k. Can I get 182 for that price? Not seen much better deals around here, could go for a 172 but I want a 182 really if I can afford it.
Well starting bid is £1,750. How much are the belts these days... £500?
Mileage doesn't bother me when backed up with full history, I've had cars over 100k before. Packs don't bother me as I want new wheels, coilovers, and a carbon fibre lip. So for me, it seems okay, bidding ends next...
