The massive display is great with the ipod, and it works brilliantly with the parrot.
You don't need a 'peformance' car. Did some training with one of the 'gatekeepers'. Told me about an older chap with a standard Octavia vRS. On an organised drive, he starts behind the 'supercars'. By the end, he's usually first back.
I'm thinking of doing IAM, but still undecided. Several people I know (with far more experience than me) have criticised the IAM for being a bit too rigid in it's attitude's. Having said that, it is very cheap for what you get.
Honestly fella, I've driven both a 197 and 225. The Meg engine hides the turbo so well, and it revs well. I really don't like turbo's (impreza's etc) but the light pressure turbo's (Golf GTi, Meg 225) don't feel anything like that. The fact that it feels so much more rapid is a bonus.
Fair enough, some good points, but at the same price point, they are obviously both options. I've not lived with or had chance to push either, but everything I've read has the R26 as the quicker, better performance car. You may not have considered the R26, fair enough.
Jeesus fella, don't hold back! The RS clio's drive better on 15's, hence the reason for them (plus you get a wider choice of cheaper rubber, espec for track tyres). Mirror cap, big issue?? At least it's being used properly, there's a lot of people on here that seem to spend all their time...
