Its a single cable that runs from the back of the head unit to under the passengers seat rather than part of any loom. I had one in the van but swapped it for an Aux cable as i find that much more useful these days!

I should have said that actually good point, Ive swapped all the relays from my van and confirmed they are all ok, as are all the fuses. Checked the usual culprit, the big white connector too, good as new!

My ph1 172 has developed a starting issue. When I put the key in turn it on, everything lights up as it should, immobiliser light goes out as it should, turn it to start and nothing happens, not even a click like you get with a flat battery or dodgy earth. I've confirmed the battery is good...

182 front grill will be a straight swap. pretty much everything is "universal" on it between ph2, 3 and 4

Find a garage that will fit the 2ns hand engine. Most will probably ask you to source it yourself so it's your issue if there is any problems but I've fitted tons and never had an issue. Has he ran it low on coolant and cooked it? They are a fairly reliable engine so I find it hard to believe...
