You need one of those mental anti-theft devices.... like the flame throwers from under the skirts and knives and things. If they were legal, I would have one without doubt. Just to watch the little shitbrick's trousers set fire when he touches my car.
Iphone's were selling in Eastern countries for upwards of a £1000 a few months back.... just because they come out a few weeks prior in the west and people sell them on. Make a fortune for doing sweet FA
My new disks and pads arrived this morning and I've decided I might as well replace the brake lines at the same time....
I've been doing some research and found a few threads on PH and various other places from people saying their goodridge hoses have inexplicably fallen apart in 18 months or...
The stance of this clio looks glorious, just wanted to know what you had on it :)
I think it may be a 172 cup but I'm not very good at recognising differences yet.... may be RB... I don't know.
I've had my Brabus Roadster up for sale for about 6 weeks now.... Not had a single call. It's up for a very reasonable price and as they go, is a very good example.
Just not selling.... I guess it's coming up to Christmas.
This man speaks the truth.... more important than the sub itself.... There's plenty of online calculators to work out box size, port size and length etc....
Lol.... well back to the original point, there's plenty of people who can do it, it's a real easy job. But car audio places tend to rape you for things like this cos it's not really worth their while doing a job that makes them a tenner.... there must be loads of people around you area that can...
I know, but mine clearly read 45 watts RMS per channel in the hand book, which it wasn't. I would post a picture, but it went a long time ago.
Anyway, exact values aren't important, the fact is, the headunit is vastly underpowered to run 6x9's.
I haven't had a look at the back of my seats to be honest, but I did exactly this on the back of my 306 rear bench....
I bought it for £200 and just used it as an audio test bed when I had my car audio business so I've tried virtually every combination of car audio you could imagine...
Fair enough mate, as said, give it a go. If nothing else, you'll learn a bit.
You can always mount the amp on the back of your seats, under one of the front seats, or put a false floor in the boot, ventilation isn't a problem with lower powered amps.
I can see this being ok if you have a great HU. If it's something average, they'll sound awful. But by all means, except a bit of time wiring, you don't have a whole lot to lose.
Most 6x9's will require about 100 - 125W RMS, most Headunits will output about 40 - 50W RMS (which I've always...
Terrible Terrible plan..... I cannot stress enough how crap HU powered 6x9's will sound. Uprated speakers are often worse than OEM speakers without an amp.
DO NOT DO THIS.
Either, buy a cheap amp (if budget is an issue) JBL amps can be had on ebay for less than £30, they're the best budget...
It's not going to give you any substantial power gains. In fact, I'd be suprised if you'd notice it at all. As said, the only real real reason that people buy induction kits / airbox mods for clios is for induction noise.
i actually just laughed out loud at work.
She's a legend.
However, given the choice of which racing driver to shag, it would be Danica Patrick

As said. there's very little in performance difference.... I'd just look for both and buy whichever individual car is the best. Not much point pidgeon holing yourself.
As said, JL audio make great stuff. Excellent value for money, sounds great and looks great too.
I used to run a car audio install company and I had JL audio stuff in my own car.
Don't pay Halford's any amount of money to do anything with the audio in your car.... They're utterly s**t. I saw a guy getting a new number plate fitted at Halford's last week, the guy was completely stumped by the security bolts on the plate and said to the customer that he couldn't do it...
