The runabout.. Staying standard. Well was.

Potentially. the 197 cams really help top end, like mine was still making power when it was pinging off the limiter.

The runabout.. Staying standard. Well was.

Yes £350 fitting, cams can be had for less than £100. And mapping after.

    So gutted :(

TBH that looks like a 30mph impact. cars bend easily nowdays. Atleast this will be a genuine whiplash claim, not a faked one. I know how bad you'll ache tomorrow. Main thing is metal is replaceable. And your alright.

The runabout.. Staying standard. Well was.

Personally I would. I know other people out there would Happily use a belt again. for the sake of £100 comapred to £1000 if it fails.

Depends who you went to, personally I only charge an extra £50 ontop of the belt change.

No worries, It provides nice detail for people to read IMO :) I'd say the stock ecu would be able to cope with it well enough, Chip and Mikes mapping of the RS2 is epic IMO.

Indeed it was Daz. Chip and I were discussing cams when out mapping the other night actually, and personally I'm not sure if wilder cams would work as well with the RS2 as the 197's have, in he way that the 197's are mild enough not compromise low end too much, but allow it to make (IMO) great...

Yes, all bar the 182 manifold that she has, and hers has the cat in it too. Mines the 172/decat setup. Hers also has updates valves and ARP's.

Well, map finished off today by chip, raised rev limit again to see if we can crack the magical number. I think for Xmas the car could be getting some ARP's for safety.

How to hot wire a Clio 172.

You should be able to remove the switch from the back of the barrel, use a screwdriver to turn it.

Cheers mate. I've been chatting to chip about how to get around the cruise control hurdle, we think we have a brilliant solution tbh. But we will see. Anyway.. I love the look, however I might paint it black and keep it stealthy.

The runabout.. Staying standard. Well was.

I never noticed anything on my LCR, even on the dyno it was seeing 900* EGT and the temp never went above 92.

I've got it mounted. Had to go higher otherwise it'll be hanging out the bottom of the bumper. Some very temporary brackets made for positioning purposes, I can make a bit more fancy ones when I do the engine change.

The runabout.. Staying standard. Well was.

So. While waiting for an engine to turn up down the garage i thought I'd get mine on the ramp and start doing some measuring. I'm going to have roughly 5mm each side of the engine and box to the chassis fails, so it'll be a tight fit! Problem I have is the 02m is alot taller than the 02j which...
