My reply was to dannyr. as if you put he plate in the wrong way generally(Not sure if the clios do it as I've never done it) they foul the flywheel bolts, so the clutch wouldnt disengage to be able to select a gear.
Thats wafting. Best one is leave them under the duvet for the mrs, then get up whilst trapping it, then turn the light on. they then put their head under the duvet. BAM double wammie!
Disclaimer. I dont drink. So no I am unable to complete such a task. So therefore I don't expect to have this...

There is supposed to be. Synthetic spacer in there, square shaped and goes over the top and bottom of the selector but between the rod when it bolts to it.
I had a cup with bilsteins set to 1.5* neg camber with 4 minutes toe out on the front, she found it un-nerving to start with but after some time with it she loves it.
Track is the same on the non-16 as it is to the 16v. only the williams had the different track. AFAIK, the hub bolt spacing only became different when It went to mk2 shells.
Behind the headlight has a pretty infinte air supply from behind the bumper, thus cooler anyway. Battery relocation doesnt involve interior out atall. My LCR ran the filter on the inner wing with a heatshield. and with a Glowing turbo and manifold intake temps didnt go above 25* on the rolling...
i personally dont think you'll be getting much if any improvement with that. you would have if youd made the filter behind the headlight and sectioned off the bay.
