Saw you yesterday mate, going the otherway in the roadworks in street, I was on the opposite side of the road, coming back from glastonbury.tried beeping, but my horn is a useful as a wet fart.
Lol, im not overly bothered with it tbh, just a bit annoying that all the mud has stuck to it lol.
lets face it its got a tyre mark down the rear 1/4 now, and nearly had a gorge shape pressed into it last night
If youve never done a clutch before dont even attempt it.
the gearbox on the 172 is fooking heavy(35kg's) and trying to get it to line up with out damaging the friction plate is a task on its own.
172's are just pain in the arses to try and do anything on(aux belt, cambelt, clutch, geabox,)
well, youve got a genuine 70bhp gain there, with an F4R, to get that sort of power(220bhp) you have to go with bodies and cams etc, yes its up 20bhp as standard...
Re: 50% complete 172RWD!
Suprised steve hasnt updated this after our progress yesterday...
it MAY be running by the end of today, I was round yesterday helping out with the wiring... not much left to do on it today hopefully.
