it wont make any noise difference, as its not the filter that stops noise is the resonation chamber, and all the air feeds, so it will not make any difference.

you want a plastic primer, then just a regular grey/white primer.2 layers of plastic primer, 3 layers of primer, leave it 10 minutes between each coat then an hour minimum for the final layer, then just key it up to paint on.
