Not really, it used to pull straight to the limiter in 5th, happily, now wont get anywhere near it... its not leaning off, so it'll be getting a 2.5" system through out in the new year, should pull to 155+ then... (provided the run way is long enough)
Dont use triple electrode plugs, they are shite basically..
all thera re there for is to increase service life, triple and quad electrode plugs can loose performance as they are shielding the spark from the mixture. single electrode NGK's are perfect.
ive yet to hear of a cam collapsing on a F4R, the noise you describe, isit like a milkfloat kind of noise? it could well be the lower idler on the aux belt, they get noisey over time...
try putting the car in 3rd and rocking it back and forward, just incase the starter has decided to jam in.
they have an in built immobiliser on the key, uch and ecu, its a transponder system, its an absolute ball ache to get round, several options, cheapest being £150, or run the ecu, uch and decoder ring and key.
