    seriously mate. Right, price for a cambelt kit(belt and tensioner) trade £61.06+vat retail 86.00+vat book time for a cambelt on an rsi sorry,2.6hrs. so @ £35ph its £90ish

    £300 to replace a belt and tensioner?!? f**k me. its about an hr and a half tops so about £60-70, plus the belt kit is £100 tops!

    How new is the exhaust? still got a cat on there? by what your describing it sounds like the exhaust is blocked(hissing) If a bearing is getting ready to let go i'd change it NOW! as it it lets go it'll take the belt with it and destroy the top end.

    most cars were 40-50bhp down and mases of torque down. those were evos too. my mates almera was about 30lb/ft down on torque. and its only 90 standard!

    nah piss easy mate, dash top off and its in the gearbox at the back near the d/s comes out the bulkhead, not easy to miss!
