for what it'd cost to get the right amount of power out of the r5 lump to get it to go fast you could put the 172 engine in.

The system fitted there is a dream 3000. quite easy to install tbh. but parts alone come to 1.6k. as above the multi-point injection systems are deffo the better systems, and you also loose mpg but the cost of gas is alot cheaper. You can also change from petrol-gas when ever you want. but...

well the 172 conv is the best bet, the newer reliablity with the older looks and handling. but then again, a turbo is something thats always been appealing, what a bout a 172 t?

if the pulley has let go, its the same as a snapped belt.
