Ive got a rear strutbrace and 4 points, they're mounted on the rear seatbelt mounts.
and i bet that brace is ally aswell, so will just fold.
imo its a good time to go out at 2/3am and learn how to control the car. find yourself a big roundabout and learn how to correct oversteer/understeer. Ive done this for about a year now. And helped me out the otherday when the back stepped out coming off a roundabout.

1) no. the CR is nothing to do with how much fuel the ecu puts in. The CR is all done with pistons, squish volume etc etc

When i bought my valver, the gearbox was crunching 2nd, not a problem as i had a spare box anyway. I finally decided to pull my finger out and get it changed, i had to get a garage to do it as i just didnt have time before xmas. Didnt get the clutch changed as i hadnt been paid and...
Nah its piss easy
Pull off the door card, you'll need a T30 torx and a T20
Then unbolt the motor and runner, 10mm socket
Then unclip it from the window, install the new one, iirc you have to do a bit of wiring, 2 wires. check to make sure its wired the right war round!!
then sling it all...
the 'things' that flutter is the compressor surge/stalling.
A dump valve cant be loud if the boost pressure isnt high. why not do what every chav who gets one does? whack the boost up then wonder why it goes bang.
If you adjust the boost, adjust fueling and timing with it.
