imo its a good time to go out at 2/3am and learn how to control the car. find yourself a big roundabout and learn how to correct oversteer/understeer. Ive done this for about a year now. And helped me out the otherday when the back stepped out coming off a roundabout.

Nah its piss easy Pull off the door card, you'll need a T30 torx and a T20 Then unbolt the motor and runner, 10mm socket Then unclip it from the window, install the new one, iirc you have to do a bit of wiring, 2 wires. check to make sure its wired the right war round!! then sling it all...

no such thing. the flutter is when there is no dv fitted. so the boost builds up against the throttle butterfly and stalls the turbo.

yea if you can hear it blowing and you cant see any damage is most liely broken a weld.

the 'things' that flutter is the compressor surge/stalling. A dump valve cant be loud if the boost pressure isnt high. why not do what every chav who gets one does? whack the boost up then wonder why it goes bang. If you adjust the boost, adjust fueling and timing with it.
