Took me an hour on ladysarah's 182. Thats with no ramp either, you dont even need to take the wheels off on the rear.

I had this, my gearbox went about 30 miles later. I rekon its a cv joint.

you wont be able to see if the bar has broken, siezed shocks would indecate a harsh ride.

you dont want a gtt lump, 99.9% have been trashed, and will be un reliable as hell!

Shocks DO NOT have anything to do with ride height. it could be a case of a siezed shock, thus holding the car down, but a worn shock wont affect it. it could also be a broken torsion bar, so all the load is on 1 side.

although the engine needs atleast a top-end rebuild as you can see the cambelt has come off in the thread.

drill it out with an 8mm drill. thje head should come off allowing the centre bit to stay in the hub. when renault did the bearinf it doesnt need the disc off.

oversteer is piss easy to control in a clio!

on the front/bottom of the gearbox, goes through the hole in the subframe and where the earth leads are it bolts to there. Pain in the arse though as the aux pump is in the way!

standard alloys are the way forward! or
