was going to say h/g, it'll be drinking water. easy to do on the energy's just becareful of the liners in the block not coming adrift when taking off the head.
try putting your fuel pump unit in it, see if that has an affect. and change/bypass the fuel filter.
pull the injectors and rail out the head so you can see if they are firing.
Oh yea!! running goodyear f1's not too impressed by them TBPH, but the wheels are a vast improvement, have brought the wheels out in the arches alot, so now need for a willy widetrack now!

Injectors need fuel pressure to fire. if there isnt enough pressure, they wont fire, so no fuel would get into the bores to be fired.

So you've checked the lines are on the right way...
Maybe the fuel filter is blocked, thus not enough fuel pressure to run? pull the rail off and injectors and point them in the air then crank, see if the injectors are ALL firing.
when i was with you on haynes, it was wheel tramp. get undernead and try and move the driveshafts in and out(towards the box and back towards the hubs) if there is any play its a cv joint. which is a new shaft.
Yep, functional too, as if i need it to go on a trailer or anything the bumper is always having to come off! and 99% of the time i dont have my tools to do it, so just pinned the bumper on!
Its now running a new box(the 3rd box i will add!), and clutch. The box is out of a 19 1.9d, which means its got stupidly high ratios :lol:
1st: 45
2nd: 65
3rd: 105
4th: 140
5th: 150+(went off the clock!) did a little test run with it in the air and it goes to approx 165/170
im running a 19 1.9 d box on my clio, and it pulls just as well. and will do 140mph in 4th, and off the clock on 5th! nearly hit the milage reset button when it hit the limiter.
