currently got a 1.2 16v with a custom cat back exhaust on it. ordering my 1.6 16v engine and box this week and need to know what to do about an exhaust....
im ordering the SuperSprint stainless manifold and front section (decat)
will this fit straight on to my custom cat back exhaust (been...
weird, but suppose it doesnt do any harm just doesnt look as good, 1.2 clocks go to 150mph and 7250rpm so does the job, but no trip computer on those ones
firstly check tyre pressures, next check the dampers to see if any are leaking and lastly do you have 4 tyres the same or at least 2 front the same and 2 rear the same (i always try to replace in pairs)
haha thats brilliant saxos are made of tin wouldnt have hurt him if it rolled over him lol my mate rolled one and it only took 3 of us about 5 seconds to get it back on its wheels!
my engines millage stoped getting any higher yesterday, another one bites the dust!
on the bright side its getting dropped out the car tomorrow when ive got time and phoning matt black for my new 1.6 16v :)
Apex do coilovers aswell tho.
nothing wrong with apex, never tried their coilovers but got a set of dampers and springs on mine and there more than upto the job, we'll see how they do with the weight of the new engine.
got a mate with a starlet gtt with TRD springs, KYB shocks and Whiteline...
clips snapped, common problem ive had to fix loads, i tried superglue and it worked for a bit but then came off again, what i do now is...
you will see at the back of the gaitor at the bottom plastic bit (bit closest to back of the car) there is a little rectangle plastic bit sticking down...
worth changing the cable, i changed my clutch and it got twice as light as it previously was, then when i changed the cable it once again got twice as light, its brilliant now never driven a clio with a clutch as light as mine!
was only about £30 for the cable i think
wouldnt think anymore than £20 for fitting, its £30 i think for a new one i snapped mine only took 5 mins to fit but the engine was out at the time so that kinda helped, took me about 15 mins to do a mates with the engine in, bit of poking and fiddling about!
looking at a 1.6 16v clio with climate and xenons 350 miles away in a renault dealership, can local dealers source cars from other dealers and get this brought down here for me? or does it not work like that lol?
cheers
I see what you mean about the back looking funny. mine used to be like that.
you need......
Dynamique Spoiler
Silvervision indicator bulbs
clean reg plates with no screws or advertising! (www.fancyplates.com)
even 6bhp is probably unlikely, well on a standard engine which i assume is what superchips are talking about.
with the mods you said above and a REMAP instead of a chip you may be looking at 120bhp 125bhp if your lucky, with a filter and inlet manifold work from BenR
