was only going to do it if it was a straight swap with no need to change ecu or uch but not going to bother if its hastle, as thats the reason im not doing the 1.6 conversion i was talking about for now as i dont have time and cant afford my car off the road for any longer than a weekend!
Supersprint do a stainless steel manifold, front section (decat), centre section and decat.
you can get it from www.motorsportworld.co.uk think its about £650 for the full system (engine back!)
get the full exhaust system mentioned above, eather go for a pannel filter or something more fancy...
optional extras to look out for are Xenon front lights, you can tell it has them by actually looking at the bulb to see if its one of the big round ones (sure someone has a pic they could show you) or by the fact that it will have headlight washers.
Climate control i think was a £800 extra or...
aye veryeasy job, surround is just a couple of clips and its off and swap it over (the surround is part of the plastic see thru coverover the front of the dials so full thing comes off) needles were a bit harder but not hard, just stick a screwdriver under them and pop them off.
first pic was taken 2 or 3 months ago, 2nd pic was today so thats why millage is different.
HAS, not a base model but an Expression so kinda in between!
fitted these at 2:20am thismorning because i couldnt sleep lol.

in 2004 (i think) renault changed the 1.2 16v engine slightly for one with a different inlet manifold, throttle body and ecu. think that was all that was changed, i might be wrong tho.
had a shot of a car with one of these engines yesterday and realised that it was actually a bit faster than...
i dont have a trip computer but i know somethings up with the car because dont think i should only be getting 260-270 miles to a full tank, anyone care to work out how many mpg that is?
my mums got 4 different tyres on the dynamique, everyone the cheapest the garage had at the time, things all over the place in the wet lol, nearly spun it on a roundabout at 30mph (usually take it at about 60mph in mine) in the wet!
you dont have to take the maifold off to replace the plugs?
14mm socket to undo the plugs then used a thin snap-on torch which has a magnet on the end to pull them out lol
think i payed about £14-£15 for my filter or there abouts maby less maby more cant quite remember, they will have them in stock id have thought since its done on all services.
We put a 2.0 red top in a corsa a couple of weeks ago in a double garage with no engine crane.
just dropped the front end of the car right on the ground, unbolted engine then got couple of guys to lift front end of car over engine and we took 1.2 16v engine out from underneath then same way to...
not bothered about top speed just need it to accelerate quickly thats why i thought the JB1 would be the best, plus ive already got one with only 9,000 miles on it! would a JB1 handle 130-140bhp?
