In with excuses, it was wet and would wheel spin in 3rd. This is the only pull I got but its all in 4th, I'm normally in 3rd till 95leptons. I think on a dry day in 3rd it would of been closer. The car is a dtc e92 m3 with decats and mapped. Not too shabby for a twingo I don't think 🤔...
More parts here to just sit in the garage until I can actually roll around under the car. Set of rs133 rear hubs with 7mm taken off the backs. This should 1, make them totally true to the stub axle itself and 2, give me some extra clearence to stop the wheels catching the arches 👍🏻
The usual waffle about the car, a trip to EFI parts and the results. Small issue with the actuator on the way meaning I drove 100+ miles with no boost, It became an NA f4r.... it was slow lol. The next video should be a lot better (y)
Lol well its fast for a twingo/renault but if you are already in a modern super saloon or something its probably only quick. Yeah it handles very well, swapping out to all the rs133 items improved it but the rear arb made a big difference. It was pretty good on the GT/Clio 172 parts to be fair...
Long old day, but not as long as they used to be for me. Anyway I set off in the morning ready to a nice gentle drive up to see Chris at EFI Parts. All was going well until I was making some choo choo noises joining the m5, suddenly I had no boost at all  A look in the mirror saw no smoke...
Right in for mapping at EFI tomorrow at 12.30, I really want to scrape the 300bhp mark without blowing up just to willy wave.
So what are your guesses?
Setup is the same as before but with a proper flow through fuel rail and a 19T hybrid turbo....
Not really had much time to do anything or much to do on this really. Replaced the oil cap as mine has been broken forever, found the correct part numbered item on ebay so got that. I was gifted a stack of bits that included a decent sized air filter which looks tidy, it's from a mk7 golf but...
I'm sure I saw a fb group pop up recently covering the south of wales (quick look and I think its for CSOC?) . Not in wales myself but about 20min from the border.
Spent a lot of time watching Motive Video recently though a mate of mine put me on to the them years ago as they used to use the runway where he lived. Technical builds and info on a few cars (jap) , They currently have one for their GR yaris which is interesting, especially as they don't just...
Physically yes I think it would be straightforward using the correct parts. Will probably (95% sure of this) need the subframe notching
Wiring and ecu side you would want the rs133 stuff to run it.
Managed to finish off the fuel side of things. The Cooksport fuel rail is a nice bit of kit though the injector clips are a pain to fit to it, I ended up fitting them from the underside (in case anyone else looks here and has an issue) Re plumbed the fuel lines with some 8mm high pressure e10...
