hi all been around a while, really into my track driving and every car ive had up untill now has been very track orientated, striped out bear, coilovers and a decent setup. thing is ive only done it with older cars, ie my old ph1 clio turbo, silly ammounts of r5,s my old gordini turbo and a few...

id say the fuel filter to be honest, its the most obvious thing. u put crap probably dirty fuel in, could be leaning out when driving to if its that cloged up so id change that asap then go from there
thats crazy man, very quick time
sorry to hijack ne1 know how you get around running a decat and having 2x lambda sensors? does it not make the car run funny?
terminal speed has a direct relevance to the power the car produces. terminal times can go up and down quite a bit due to traction and such like. have a proper look into it get 2 diff cars with rufley the same power and ull get rufley the same terminal speed one can be rwd and one fwd, the rwd...

iv had a prob with the tdc lead, renault cleaned it and said it would be fine. it caused the car to cut out or not fire when trying to start, thought that this might be the problem but its defo slower some days than others. does anyone do turbo or charger conversions? as the do for the 16valve...
what power/torque do these put out? i think there might be a prob with mine as somedays it feels quick and othes really underpowered even getting slaughtered by a standard vtr!!! theres a slight leak from the thermostat housing and theres loads of crap on the crank sensor/tdc lead could this be...
yep that old engine that forever out performs all of its bigger rivals, the turbo setup on them is basic, a turbo and an intercooler and a bit of pipework would be all that extra than whats found on a n/a setup car
it aint that much difference as i did the conversion myself i lifted both engines, u cant really think that 200cc capacity increase weighs much, the fact that its an old style engine with less parts might actually make it lighter. dnt be getting all shirty, it was only an estimate

its a 1.2 rn clio, kerb weight of 815kg everything but the dash a a bucket seat is out. so if blink172 recons its around 150kgs out that gives me a ruff guess of 665kgs, at the mo that makes my cars power out to be 264bhp per tone est.
ive just poped the headgasket and am doing a top end...
