If you wait long enough for one in your colour to come up for sale - post in the wanted section and then keep an eye on ebay for cup spoilers and cars being broken. Or better still get yourself a v6 spoiler and paint it yourself as you sound like you are good at painting. Wont be painting mine...

The cup spoilers just bolt on, pretty easy job. They will be about the same price as the V6. V6 is £103 inc delivery but needs spraying. The cup spoilers come up in the forsale section now and again usually for £120. I will have a black gold cup spoiler for sale as soon as my V6 one is on.

I always went for the GSDS3 F1's on my 172 and thought they were great too. fantastic grip in summer and rain....... BUT useless in the snow , only lasted 10k and oh my god the amount of stones that would get stuck in the tread and cause a clip clop noise when driving. ... arrrgh the memories...

Does it get louder when you turn the steering wheel? Reason I say is my old 182 used whine when it ran low on pas fluid. It had a leak on the pressure sensor. The whine went when the fluid was topped up but ultimately replaced the sensor that had the leak and then the whine went altogether.

Oh.... but the rear cards arent that rigid so will probably vibrate and cause you problems.

There is loads of depth on the rear speakers. pop the covers off - youll see the little slot to put a screw driver to pop them off.
