the better way is to look from under the car, from above you may just see it its down by the crank. The water pump is arrowed.

noises could be anything normally a kind of tappy sound, or the pump could be leaking etc e.g. faild pump. There are 2 belts both run by the crank, the cam belt is behind a cover behind the aux belt.

manifold to cat bolts at the bottom not sure if its the same as the later cup but i seen on where the springs had gone lose so rattled.

Could well be the diff although it very hard to say with out testing it etc. is your car out of warrenty, how many miles as renault still might pay a percentage towards a new box. yea i think 1.4 boxes are the same as 1.6 mate.

you can adjust from inside and ouside on non xenon headlights (these are self leveling) i think from what there saying the the adjust has come out or broken try taking adjuster out and having a look at it.

that the live and the earth to the fan motor, the resistor is in the second pic all the way to the right has the block connector with 5 wires on it from here 2 6mm bolts and out it comes put the new one in bolt it back and away you go.

The resistor is not in that photo its to the right more, the pollen filter is under that piece of plastic where that piece of wiring loom is held, undo the 6mm bolt pull top off and replace filter.
