in a clio 2 to just flash someone you just half pull the stalk towards you and it flashes, to activate full beam when driving you pull it fully towards you and it clicks on. when auto lights are switched on, it activates full beam regardless of how far you pull it, so if you give it a quick...

i assume he means when you try and flash someone with auto lights on it just blasts full beam at them! thats the main reason i always switched auto lights off
